Exploratory Testing
Exploratory testing is a term originally coined in 1998 by Cem Kaner in his book “Testing Computer Software”- In exploratory testing the test design and execution are conducted concurrently. The results of a test or group of tests will often prompt the tester to delve deeper into that area (i.e., explore)
- In structured testing, testers often create many tests that don’t seem as useful during execution as they did during creation
